Bright Future Scholarships
Earn up to $5,000 towards select Applied Technology programs!
The next revolution in advanced manufacturing and engineering technology is here, and you can be a part of it! You’ll learn in a high-tech, modern, and new environment at the Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center and witness first-hand the growing changes in Industry 4.0. Just like advanced manufacturing and engineering technology, your future is bright too, with Mid-State’s new Bright Future Scholarships!
Eligible students will receive a $2,500 scholarship in fall 2024 and a $2,500 scholarship in spring 2025. Twenty scholarships are available!
Eligible Programs
Choose from six Applied Technology programs:
- Advanced Manufacturing Technology
- Automation & Instrumentation Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology-Highway Technician
- Mechanical Design Technology
- Metal Fabrication
- Welding

Scholarship Details
To be eligible for the Bright Future Scholarships, applicants must start one of the six eligible programs in the fall 2024 semester. Students must remain in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a course completion rate above 70% to maintain eligibility for the three-semester scholarship.
The Bright Future Scholarships are available through funding provided by the State of Wisconsin Workforce Innovation Grant.
