Administrative Assistant

Job Description: Candidate will work directly with the Village Administrator to perform a variety of tasks assigned. American Heart Association Course Support Assistant

Job Description: Provides support for courses running through the Workforce and Economic Development Division. The duties may include: assisting with finding instructors for courses, issuing course completion cards to students who successfully complete a course, maintain AHA required documents as directed, monitor and respond to customer and instructor questions through email.

Job Description: Aides the teacher in the classroom, prepares supplies, helps with food service, and supervises children as assigned.

Skills needed: Be able to lift 35 pounds, be able to bend or pick up children for diapering, stoop to a one-year-olds eye level, sit on floor with children, interact warmly with children, assist in maintaining children's records. Reliability and attendance are crucial for this position. Will need CPR certification.

Classroom Assistant

Job Description:

  • Assist teaching staff with classroom routines, transitions, and activities for all children within the program.
  • Assist in maintaining the center in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Provide general support to the center as needed, which may include assisting with meal preparation and service and janitorial services.
  • Follow Licensing Child Care Regulations for the State of Wisconsin and ADA Standards, CAP Employee Handbook and NAEYC Code of Ethics.
  • Follow the Education Philosophy, Child Guidance and Individual Guidance Policies when working with children.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to include oral, written and listening skills.
  • In accordance with Section 4.48.981 of the Wisconsin State Statutes, staff are mandated reporters and must report suspected child abuse and neglect.

  • Completion of high school or equivalent and completion of one course in Early Childhood Education from an institute of higher education.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of Shaken Baby Syndrome training prior to working at the center.
  • In accordance with Wisconsin Child Care Regulations, must be willing to submit to and pass a Criminal Background Check and Background Information Disclosure.
  • Must be able to work effectively with multi-cultural situations.

Cougar Crew

Job Description: We’re looking for enthusiastic Mid-State program students to help promote the College to prospective students as members of the Cougar Crew! The Cougar Crew serves as an extension of the Mid-State Outreach team, serving as the first point of contact for interested students. Program Leader
