Join us for an informative and interactive session designed to give school counselors the tools and knowledge they need to better support students on their educational journey. 

The 11th Annual Trapshoot Fundraiser is an exciting way to help raise money for emergency loan and grant programs that benefit Mid-State students in need!Every year, competitors and sponsors at this highly anticipated event make some wonderful memories to match the positive impact their support will have on the lives of students.Adult competitors must be 18 years of age or older. Youth ages 10–17 may participate if accompanied by parent or guardian. All participants will be required to sign a waiver of participation at the event.Five-person teams. Limited to the first 25 teams. Registration due by September 4.Adult = $85/shooterYouth = $50/shooter

Students will have the opportunity to meet with 30+ colleges, universities, and military representatives. Register early to ensure a spot!This event is intended for high school students in 11th and 12th grades.

Join us for a financial wellness event designed to help current and returning students overcome financial barriers, resolve SDC holds or balances, and confidently take the next step at Mid-State Technical College.Start Strong blends financial wellness, recruitment and student support to help individuals “start strong” — investing in themselves, their families and their future. 

Attend a PathwayU Workshop to explore college degrees and careers that fit your goals and passions! The PathwayU college and career tool delves into your interests, personality, values, and workplace preferences. After you complete the four assessments, we will discuss your top career matches and connect them to Mid-State programs.

One idea. One minute. One slide. One Hundred Dollars.Throw out your idea! Mid-State Technical College and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) students are invited to participate in an idea contest. This in-person event will be a low stakes early opportunity for future entrepreneurs and leaders to share a proposed solution to a business or community challenge.Five participants will walk away with $100.

Discover Your Career Match!Program Showcase gives high schools students in ninth and tenth grades a first-hand look at college life and the in-demand degree programs available at Mid-State. Lunch is not provided; however, arrangements can be made for your students to eat on campus before or after their session. Space is limited so reserve your class early.

Emergency response to farm incidents remains a challenge to rescue services.It is also challenging when fewer personnel in today’s rural departments have agricultural backgrounds. This program is designed for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and fire rescue personnel to supplement basic emergency knowledge, skills, and ability with training for agricultural incidents. Ag Rescue Training will challenge your knowledge regarding specific farm incident situations while providing take-home-and-use information.
