For the first time, three Mid-State Technical College students placed in their competitions at the annual national SkillsUSA® Championships held this June in Louisville, Ky. The result is a point of pride for the College as it seeks to increase its involvement in the organization this year as host to the high school district skills competition on Dec. 12.

Free electric vehicle charging is now available to the public at all Mid-State Technical College campuses in Adams, Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids. Each electrical vehicle charging station is the first in its community. All cords at each location are SAE J1772, the industry standard for electric vehicle charging.

Over 450 students from seven area high schools and homeschool groups converged at the Wisconsin Rapids Campus of Mid-State Technical College on Oct. 22 for the College’s Program Showcase career exploration event.
