Mid-State Technical College supporters gathered at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association in Nekoosa on Sept. 6 for the Foundation’s fourth-annual Trapshoot Fundraiser. The fun, team-based competition raised approximately $5,000 for emergency grant programs that benefit students in financial need.

The first-place team was comprised of Brian Krause, Kevin Krause, Fred Krause, Darryl Clauson and Michael Zdroik. Overall high female score went to Alex Lendved with a score of 34. Darryl Clauson and Brian Krause tied at 48 for the overall high male score, with Clauson coming out on top after a tie-breaking shootout.

“This was truly amazing event, and fun was had by all,” said Jill Steckbauer, director of Foundation & Alumni. “It’s a powerful testament to the generosity of our participants and volunteers to help students succeed.”
