Mid-State’s summer 2023 registration opens this week

March 9, 2023

Mid-State Technical College’s summer term starts in June with service member priority registration opening on Thursday, March 9, and public registration opening on Friday, March 10.

All associate degree programs, most technical diplomas and some certificates can be started this summer. The Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Stainless Steel Welding technical diplomas can even be completed before August.

“Summer is a great time for current Mid-State students, transfer students and prospective students alike,” said Jackie Esselman, dean of Recruitment & Admissions. “Historically, the majority of our most popular summer courses are general education classes. Mid-State students can take these to lighten their fall credit load, university students home for the summer can take these to save money and transfer back and prospective students can get a head start on a program before fall.”

Mid-State offers a wide variety of flexible, affordable classes, including online or small in-person classes with collaborative learning environments. Examples include a variety of general education courses as well as some program-specific offerings. Many of the available classes also include guaranteed transfer to more than 20 four-year colleges and universities and a cost per credit that’s two to three times lower than four-year public institutions and up to seven times lower than a private college.

Registration opens soon. Learn more at mstc.edu/summer.
