Emotional Wellness is an important part of your journey at Mid-State. There are services and resources available both on and off campus that can help you maintain emotional stability.

Physical Activity

The benefits of physical activity goes beyond losing pounds or maintaining a healthy weight. It helps to combat both physical and emotional conditions. Regular activity can help prevent or manage physical concerns such as stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, certain types of cancer, arthritis, and heart disease to name a few. Physical activity also stimulates chemicals in the brain to improve mood, manage stress, and make you feel energized.
