Mid-State Technical College will host two upcoming events at its Wayne H. Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center, each designed to help community members explore pathways to rewarding careers in manufacturing, engineering and technology.

Registration is open for Mid-State Technical College’s mid-term start classes beginning in October, which means it’s not too late to get started this fall.

Mid-State Technical College is proud to announce a new partnership with the Marshfield Job Center, bringing enhanced career and college access services to the Mid-State on Central location in downtown Marshfield.

Mid-State Technical College is offering a new 27-credit Advanced Meat Cutting and Butchery technical diploma. The  program builds skills in humane livestock processing, carcass fabrication, portion control, meat merchandising and retail management.

A groundbreaking new opportunity is now available to Lincoln High School students, thanks to a partnership between Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools and Mid-State Technical College. The new Business Management Academy allows students to earn a full associate degree in Business Management, all while still in high school.

Mid-State Technical College proudly announces the reaffirmation of its accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) for another decade, effective June 30, 2025. The achievement underscores Mid-State’s commitment to maintaining exceptional educational quality and continuous improvement.

Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center. The company’s $200,000 gift secures lifetime naming rights in one of the Center’s classrooms.

Mid-State Technical College has announced its Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester.

Mid-State Technical College and Wisconsin Automotive & Truck Education Association (WATEA) hosted an event to celebrate their successful three-year partnership to provide student transportation via the Mid-State shuttle. The event took place on Monday, June 16, at Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus. 

Mid-State Technical College is offering a new Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) associate degree. Applications are now being accepted for the 67-credit program.
