Mid-State Technical College, partners celebrate grand opening of AMETA™ Center

Mid-State Technical College hosted a donor recognition luncheon and ribbon cutting ceremony on July 22 to celebrate the official opening of its Wayne H. Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center. The 48,000 square-foot facility is located in the Stevens Point Industrial Park at 5000 Coye Drive.

Mid-State announces first Dental Assistant program graduates

The inaugural cohort of Mid-State Technical College’s Dental Assistant technical diploma finished their coursework this June, marking the first five students to graduate from the program.

Mid-State hosts ‘Rafters Meet-and-Greet’ and ‘Cuts 4 Kids’ event at Wisconsin Rapids Campus

Mid-State Technical College has again partnered with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to let young fans meet and enjoy time with Rafters baseball players at the College’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus. The June 17 event was combined with Cuts 4 Kids, providing free kids’ haircuts from Mid-State Cosmetology and Barber Technologist students.

Mid-State Board adopts 2024–25 budget

Mid-State Technical College’s Board of Directors adopted the College’s 2024–25 budget following a public hearing during its June 17 meeting in Wisconsin Rapids. The annual budget goes into effect on July 1, 2024.
