Allie Gessert

Hello, my name is Allie Gessert, and I am a new part of Cougar Crew this summer! I am currently a Senior going into my final year of Nursing School at Western Technical College in La Crosse. Mid-State has been a big part of my academic journey by allowing me to take Dual Credit courses and Start College Now courses in high school to allow me to level up my education and save money and time. I am passionate about giving others the opportunity to do the same here at Mid-State and help those in my community.

Breana Sullivan

My name is Breana Sullivan, and I am a part of the Cougar Crew this summer. I currently am a sophomore attending UW-Madison studying Communication Sciences & Disorders to become a Speech Pathologist. Throughout my high school career, I took many dual credit classes through Mid-State and currently am enrolled in a summer course. I would love to give others the same opportunities I was given in high school by helping them learn more about Mid-State. I am excited to use my leadership skills within the Cougar Crew to recruit new students and teach others about the benefits of being a Mid-State student.

Kailer Lyp

Hi everyone! My name is Kailer Lyp, and I just finished my junior year at UW-La Crosse. I am very fortunate to have been able to complete nearly a semester of my college courses through Mid-State's Dual Credit Program. Not only did it save me thousands of dollars, but it provided me with an experience that helped me to gain all the necessary skills to be successful in my undergraduate education. It truly provided an education that bolstered integrity, teamwork, respect, and accountability all within a student-centered framework. It is a pleasure to be a part of Cougar Crew!

Madelyn Dickey

Hello, I'm Madelyn, one of the new Cougar Crew Interns this summer. I am currently a Mid-State student studying in the Digital Marketing program. I am most excited to learn more about marketing in higher education and connecting with people in the community at outreach events. When I am not at Mid-State, I love to travel and try new things. I also always enjoy reading a good book in my free time.

For my future, I want to combine my love for education, working with people, and marketing in the fields of higher education or educational technology. 

Jackson Dewitt

Hello, my name is Jackson, and I am one of the Cougar Crew Interns. I am a current student at Lincoln High School at which I have taken many dual credit classes to earn credit through Mid-State. I play basketball for Lincoln and have appeared in multiple stage musicals.  While my plans after high school aren't finalized, currently, I am planning on going into the trades and getting a degree through Mid-State!

Alli Dewitt

Hello, my name is Alli, and I am one of the Cougar Crew interns! I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay majoring in Human Resources and Management. I became involved with Mid-State through dual credit courses and start college now. My future plans involve working in student services which is why I chose this position. I am passionate about helping students find their fit. I am excited to build my skills and learn more about a future here at Mid-State.
