Employability Skills
In addition to specific job-related training, Mid-State has identified a set of employability skills which are transferable and go beyond the content of a specific course.
The college supports the following skills for all Mid-State graduates:

- Communicate effectively
- Demonstrate effective critical and creative thinking
- Demonstrate cultural, social, and global awareness
- Uses appropriate technology
