Mid-State’s Third Annual Sand Valley Golf Outing planned for August 5
Golfers looking to combine their love of the sport with a great cause will again have a chance this August at the Mid-State Technical College Sand Valley Golf Outing. Now in its third year, the highly popular event at the world-class Sand Valley 17-hole par 3 Sandbox course in Nekoosa tees off at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Registration includes green fee, lunch, drink ticket, 24 raffle tickets and mulligan, and a BBQ buffet during the event reception. All proceeds benefit a variety of Mid-State Foundation scholarships, grants and emergency funding for students.
“We are thrilled to be able to hold this year’s event and will be following the guidelines Sand Valley has put into place to ensure all our guests and donors are safe,” said Jill Steckbauer, Foundation & Alumni director. “This is the perfect event for anyone wanting to get out and enjoy central Wisconsin’s finest par 3 course while helping students at Mid-State achieve their dream of a college education through grants and scholarships.”
