Mid-State Technical College will welcome child abuse survivor, awareness advocate, and bestselling author Elizabeth Smart to share her message of hope and resiliency after trauma. Known for her remarkable story of survival, she has transformed her personal tragedy into a powerful platform for change. Elizabeth has been the subject of several documentaries, including one released in January on Netflix.
Her talks are not just about her own experience but are meant to empower others to overcome their own challenges. Topics include:
