An Idea Contest

One idea. One minute. One slide. One Hundred Dollars.

Throw out your idea! Mid-State Technical College and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) students are invited to participate in an idea contest. This in-person event will be a low stakes early opportunity for future entrepreneurs and leaders to share a proposed solution to a business or community challenge.

Five participants will walk away with $100.

The rules are simple. Create a single slide that shares the following:

  • State your problem
  • State your solution
  • State your client
  • State your why

Open to any students at Mid-State Technical College or the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Participation is limited to the first 50 registrants. No cost to enter.
