What is financial aid?
Financial aid is available from the federal government, state government, and private sources. It can be grants, students loans, or work-study employment subsidized by the government. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine eligibility for student financial aid. The key to receiving all of the aid you are eligible for it to understand the FAFSA and the overall process for identifying and applying for the various kinds of financial aid.
