Courses for university students, lifelong learners and community members
Registration is now open for Mid-State Technical College’s Spring 2026 semester, offering a wide range of credit and non-credit courses designed to meet the needs of students, working adults and community members across central Wisconsin.
Spring classes begin Jan. 26, with additional winterim class options beginning on Jan. 5. The timing is ideal for students to plan ahead—whether adding a course to stay on track toward a degree or exploring new interests during the winter months.
Many of Mid-State’s spring offerings are part of the University Transfer Program, allowing students home on winter break from four-year institutions to earn transferable credits close to home. Courses in general education areas such as communication, social science and math are delivered in flexible formats to accommodate busy schedules.
For those not seeking college credit, Mid-State also offers a variety of community enrichment courses designed to bring people together and spark creativity. From cookie decorating and wine tasting to hands-on workshops and personal development opportunities, these short courses provide an engaging way to learn something new before or after the holidays.
“Spring registration is a great time for students and community members to find something that fits their goals or interests,” said Leah Van Ert, admissions specialist at Mid-State Technical College. “Whether someone is home from university, looking to add a class or simply wants to try something new, Mid-State has a wide range of options to explore.”
