AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION COURSES - FOR LAY RESCUERS AND GENERAL PUBLIC

Mid-State Technical College offers a variety of AHA continuing education courses. Classes are designed for the general public, employee training at businesses or other entities. Please refer to the course descriptions to help you determine what will best meet your needs. Registrations are required two weeks before the beginning of any course. Heartsaver CPR AED

Combines basic CPR skills training for adult, child, and infant with instruction and practice in using an AED for lay rescuers. Course Fee: $44.63 / 62+ Fee: $24.50

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION COURSES - FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

AHA Health Professional courses are designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in prehospital and in-facility environments.  Examples: EMS personnel, medical assistants, physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a professional CPR course. Please refer to the course descriptions to help you determine what will best meet your needs. Registrations are required two weeks before the beginning of any course. Basic Life Support Provider CPR

Provides a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies; provide CPR to an adult, child, or infant; use an AED; and relieve choking in a safe and effective manner. Course Fee: $29.63 / 62+ Fee: $9.50
