Basic Life Support Provider Renewal – Available Beginning Spring 2023

Due to new American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines released in October 2020, no Basic Life Support Provider CPR Renewal classes can be provided for two years. The explanation provided by the AHA is that if a person were originally certified using the old guidelines (released in 2015), that person is unable to renew because they have not been certified with the current guidelines (released in 2020).

Description: For healthcare providers who have certified in Basic Life Support within the past two years and are in need of a refresher course. Successful completion of this course will renew certification for an additional two years. This course covers basic life support for adult, child, and infant.

HeartCode BLS CPR – Skills Test

Combination of eLearning, in which the student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, and a face-to-face session to prove competency in CPR skills for adults, children, and infants. Self-directed portion must be completed prior to the arrival to class, and student must present a certificate of completion to the instructor before the skills testing can take place. NOTE: Most of the eLearning portion of the certification is separate from this course and is the responsibility of the student. Students must purchase the online eLearning portion of this certification through one of the following vendors: World Point, Laerdal, Channing Bete, or AHA eLearning.
Course Fee: $16.45 / 62+ Fee: $9.50
