Sign Here If You Exist: A Reading from Jill Sisson Quinn

Join Mid-State Communications Instructor Jill Sisson Quinn as she reads from her new book Sign Here if You Exist, winner of The Journal Non/Fiction Collection Prize. Trek through forests, along shorelines, and into lakes and rivers to experience unlikely pairings of the outer and inner world—parasitic wasps and the afterlife, or salamanders and parenthood—in which each element casts the other in an unexpectedly rich light. Enjoy a brief excerpt read by the author from these essays that radiate from the junction of science and imagination, observation and introspection, and research and reflection. The reading will be followed by a question and answer session about the craft of writing.
