Transfer Opportunity with UW-River Falls

Agriculture transfer opportunity available from Mid-State Technical College to UW-River Falls

A transfer agreement between Mid-State Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls creates an affordable new pathway to a four-year degree for those interested in a career in agriculture. The agreement allows students completing an associate degree in Agribusiness and Science Technology at Mid-State to transfer directly to the bachelor of science in Agricultural Studies at UW-River Falls. Graduates from Mid-State will enter UW-River Falls with 60 of the degree’s 128 credits completed.

“We are proud of our collaboration with Mid-State to create more agriculture-related educational opportunities to students in central Wisconsin,” said Dr. Brenda Boetel, professor and department chair of agricultural economics and agricultural marketing specialist at UW-River Falls. “We look forward to supporting individual Mid-State students to ensure a successful transfer to UW-River Falls.”

Mid-State students can learn more about this transfer opportunity by contacting their academic advisor. Those new to the College can call 888.575.6782 and ask to speak to an outreach coordinator.
