Peter-Jon Rudquist   Peter-Jon Rudquist
Peter-Jon has sixteen years of urban forestry experience in state and municipal government and commercial arboriculture. His career includes positions as an Arborist with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, Managing Arborist for the St. Croix Tree Service, Regional Urban Forestry Coordinator with the Department of Natural Resources and Plant Health Specialist with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

Peter-Jon earned a bachelor of science degree in urban forestry management from the College of Forestry at the University of Minnesota. He holds various occupational certifications including certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.
     
Dr. Deb Crunkilton   Deb Crunkilton
Deb started teaching full-time in the Urban Forestry Technician program at MSTC in 2005.  Prior to that she taught various courses in forestry, natural resources and biology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for 14 years. In the early 1980's she worked as a forester with the U.S. Forest Service on the Chippewa National Forest in Minnesota.

Deb earned a bachelor of science degree in forest management, a master's degree in public administration, and a doctorate in tree physiology and silviculture from the University of Missouri.

Joe Hoffman  

Joe Hoffman
An instructor in the Urban Forestry program since 2002, Joe previously owned and operated an arboricultural service in southwest Wisconsin. His experience also includes positions as Senior Arborist with First Choice Tree Care, Arborist and Tree Care Technician at S&S Tree & Horticultural Specialists in Minnesota, and Lead Arborist at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware.

Joe earned a bachelor of science degree in forestry, with an urban emphasis, from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.
