Overview Gain the knowledge and skills to qualify for a position as a Surgical Technologist. Participate in surgical procedures by providing instruments and supplies to the surgeon. Skills and techniques used in central service with instrument processing are also learned. Both classroom instruction and clinical experience are part of the curriculum. Surgical technology involves minimal patient contact. Clinical experiences include surgery, ambulatory surgery, central service and related areas. The Surgical Technologist program is a Technical Diploma and offered at MSTC's Marshfield campus. |
