Hello, my name is Troy Martin and I work at the Stevens Point and Marshfield Campuses. I have the privilege of working at MSTC as a counselor with great students and staff. With sincere enthusiasm, determination and dedication, I am here to provide academic, social/personal and career counseling to our students.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from UW-Stevens Point in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from UW-Stout. I began my counseling career working as a domestic abuse counselor for battered women. From there, I entered the field of education and worked as a high school counselor serving students in grades 7-12. Other experiences consist of owning and operating my own business, substitute teaching, working in the insurance and financial services industry and coaching boys football and girls softball.

My passion is helping people identify and understand their purpose in life and to help them maximize their full potential in all aspects of life. It is with great pleasure that I help people develop and achieve goals so that their dreams become reality. As a result they too can make a difference in other people’s lives.
