| MSTC email is the College's primary method for communicating important information to students and staff. Students are encouraged to check their email regularly to keep current with MSTC information.
Registered students are assigned a username and password two weeks (10 days) prior to the start of the semester. Within the MSTC computer network students are allocated a secure drive space to save and retrieve their data files. While email access is available remotely, personal data files can only be accessed while using an MSTC computer.
When a student MSTC email and network account is created, the student is issued a username and password to gain access to College computing services. It is the responsibility of the student to keep their username and password secure from other persons. Each user is responsible for all actions taken while logged in with their username and password. Students should always "logoff" of the network when leaving a workstation. Students must abide by the MSTC Computer Use Policy when using the College's computing resources.
Email and data saved on the network is deleted if the student fails to re-enroll within 180 days of their last date of attendance.
