My name is Julanne Ranek-Stoltz. I am the full-time Counselor at the Stevens Point campus, serving students in any of the business programs, as well as those who are undecided about what they want to do. Let me help support you as you work to achieve your educational goals! 

I have many strategies that you can begin utilizing as you strive for a balance between the personal demands of your life, its various roles, and your own personal academic success. It is better to have someone help you navigate around the road blocks and barriers that life can sometimes present, than to find yourself having stumbled and left to pick yourself up…by yourself! Know that I am here—available to you for one-on-one counseling sessions. 

I have a Masters in Educational Psychology / Developmental Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (1990). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Wisconsin since 1995. My experience includes helping people with social-emotional, behavioral and relationship issues. My counseling roles have been in both the educational and community settings as a school guidance counselor, an employee assistance program counselor and a vocational rehabilitation counselor. 

I believe in the potential of every human being, and that success begins from within. Sometimes we just need someone else to believe in us first to help us believe in ourselves.
