Help When You Need It

Mid-State aims to offer several approaches to tutoring to ensure that students have options that fit their learning needs. Currently, we offer tutor labs, peer tutoring, and small tutor groups. Tutoring services are no cost to currently registered students.

One on one peer tutoring is initiated by the instructor through Student Services. If you would like a Peer Tutor, contact your instructor and they will make a referral to the program counselor who will get the process started

We will make every effort to provide peer tutoring, however, please be aware that we cannot guarantee we will find a tutor that meets your specific needs.

Tutor Labs are drop-in format and enables you to get tutoring help when you need it. See tutor lab schedules below.

Another great resource available to you is the Learning Commons. It’s a convenient place to study, conduct study groups, and obtain assistance with your classes, especially writing and math. The Learning Commons is staffed with qualified instructors ready to assist you in reaching your academic goals. Each campus offers day and evening hours. Hours of operation vary by campus.
