Help When You Need It
MSTC offers several approaches to tutoring to ensure that students have options that fit their learning needs. Tutoring labs are staffed by highly qualified peer tutors and adjunct faculty who have solid knowledge in the courses they are tutoring. Labs are designed for convenience. The drop-in format enables you to get tutoring help when you need it. Some programs have also established labs based on current course offerings, as well as skill development areas.
We continue to offer one on one peer tutoring. This style of tutoring is typically initiated by the instructor. They will talk with you about the advantage of working with a tutor and make a referral to the program counselor who will get the process started.
