Help When You Need It
Mid-State aims to offer several approaches to tutoring to ensure that students have options that fit their learning needs. Currently, we offer tutor labs, peer tutoring, and small tutor groups. Tutoring services are no cost to currently registered students.
One-on-one peer tutoring can be initiated by completing the Peer Tutor Request Form. If you would like a peer tutor, please complete the form to get the process started.
We will make every effort to provide peer tutoring; however, please be aware that we cannot guarantee we will find a tutor that meets your specific needs.
Tutor labs are drop-in format, so you can get tutoring help when you need it. See tutor lab schedules below.

Another great resource available to you is the Learning Commons. It’s a convenient place to study, conduct study groups, and get help with your classes, especially writing and math. The Learning Commons is staffed with qualified instructors ready to assist you in reaching your academic goals. Each campus offers day and evening hours. Hours of operation vary by campus.
