Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy technicians are critical in today’s healthcare!

Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medication. In this program, you learn how to use pharmacy software to build patient profiles, interpret, and enter prescriptions. Graduates may find themselves working in hospital and retail pharmacies, nursing homes, and virtually everywhere medications must be prepared.

The Pharmacy Technician program is offered at Stevens Point Campus. Core program courses are offered via Instructional Television (ITV) hosted by Lakeshore Technical College and are supported by select classes available in the MSTC District.
