MSTC Foundation new student scholarship deadline approaching
December 19, 2013
Still time to register for Spring Semester
The Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) Foundation spring scholarship application deadline is only weeks away. With winter holidays quickly approaching, the MSTC Foundation is reminding prospective MSTC students to get their application in before 4 p.m. on Friday, January 3.
The application covers scholarships available to new students beginning their attendance of MSTC in the 2014 Spring Semester. New program students must be registered for six or more credits to qualify. Applications can be obtained online.
It’s not too late for those individuals looking to develop or enhance skills in the New Year to register for MSTC’s Spring Semester. An MSTC hands-on education is designed to prepare students with the skills and education they need for a new career or to keep current in their present field. Classes begin January 13.
MSTC, one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System, offers more than 100 associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates. The college serves a resident population of approximately 165,000 in central Wisconsin with campuses in Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids, and a learning center in Adams. Those who are interested in learning more can stop by any MSTC location, call 888.575.MSTC.
MSTC will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, and 31, and Jan. 1. Visitors are invited to call ahead for campus office hours during the college’s break between semesters.
