July 18, 2018

Golfers in the community who are itching to try the new Sand Valley golf course while supporting a great cause will have a chance at a special golf outing with Mid-State Technical College. The event tees off at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Sand Valley Golf Course in Nekoosa, with all proceeds benefitting a variety of Mid-State Foundation scholarships, grants and emergency funding for students.

Event participants will enjoy Sand Valley’s 17-hole par 3 Sandbox course. Registration includes green fee, lunch, drink ticket, skins game entry, mulligan and hors d’oeuvres during the event reception. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this exclusive opportunity at this highly sought-after course,” said Jill Steckbauer, Foundation & Alumni director. “This is the perfect event for anyone wanting to work on their short game on this amazing course while helping out a great cause.”

The deadline to register or sponsor the event is Friday, Aug. 31. More information can be found at www.mstc.edu/sandvalley. Call 715-422-5322 or email foundation@mstc.edu with any questions.
