Adults who have not completed high school may obtain a GED certificate or a High School Equivalency Diploma in the State of Wisconsin.

To start the process, you must be 18 years of age and not enrolled in high school. |

To begin testing, you must be 18 years 6 months of age or your high school class must have graduated. |

Bring a photo ID |

Bring your receipt showing that you paid for your test |

No food, drinks, books, papers, calculators, listening devices (music), cell phones, hats, purses, etc. will be allowed in the testing room |

Pens, pencils, and scratch paper will be provided |
|
If an exam requires a calculator, one will be provided. |

Minimum passing score per test is 410. Total of all five tests must be 2250 minimum. |
|
Test scores will be mailed to the address you provide within 2 weeks of the test date. |
|
Test scores can not be provided over the telephone or via email. |

Retesting to increase scores is allowed at $15 per test. |
|
You must wait 30 days before repeating a GED test. |
