Centennial Bike Ride & Walk
As part of celebrating the college’s 100 years of education and job training in central Wisconsin, the Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) Foundation recently hosted the kick-off Centennial Bike & Walk Event. On Saturday, September 14, 112 enthusiastic participants joined us for this non-competitive 100K or 50K bike ride covering rural areas in north Wood County, and 10K bike or walk option in the South Wood County Park area.
Heartfelt thanks is extended to riders, walkers, and those who pledged in support; as well as to the 30 generous metric mile sponsors and 35 fabulous volunteers who were there with support of all kinds throughout the event. The combined efforts of many raised over $8,000 for the event. All proceeds will benefit MSTC students through scholarships.
