Part-time instructors are needed to teach courses, such as Healthcare Customer Service, Introduction to Computing for Healthcare, and Human Body in Health and Disease, in the Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy technical diploma programs during the fall 2008 semester at the Stevens Point Campus. Courses will run during daytime and evening hours. Instructors are responsible for classroom management, student evaluation, and record keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of an associate degree is required, combined with non-teaching, related, occupational experience totaling seven years (14,000 hours); bachelor's degree preferred. Two years of non-teaching health occupational experience is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Good organizational skills, positive interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
Benefits do not apply to part-time instructional positions.
