Description:

Analyzes modern probation and parole practices and services, examines current probation procedures and the case law affecting those decisions; and reviews the advantages of community-based treatment, special programs, and the use of non-professionals. Through learning activities, students are exposed to a portion of the "daily life" of a probation and parole agent. Prerequisite: Admission to Corrections & Community Advocacy program 105047
