Description:

This course offers algebra content with applications. Topics include properties of real numbers, order of operations, algebraic solution for linear equations and inequalities, operations with polynomial and rational expressions, operations with rational exponents and radicals, algebra of inverse, logarithmic and exponential functions. Prerequisite: Pre-Algebra 10834109 with a grade of "C" or better; Accuplacer Arithmetic score of 110; Accuplacer Arithmetic score of 90 and Accuplacer Algebra score of 30 (A student scoring a "C" or lower, should enroll in the Math Lab supplementary instruction with the next level math class)
