Third Party Full Payment Sponsorship of Student Enrollment
- In those cases where a sponsoring organization guarantees payment of full tuition and fees, the student is admitted to the class when proof of third party sponsorship is provided. (See MSTC Third Party Sponsorship Forms)
- If a student possesses a registration hold for a personal balance, the hold would be lifted, the student would be enrolled in the class, and the hold would then be re-established. This would apply only to the class(es) for which the sponsoring organization is guaranteeing payment. To take additional classes, receive a transcript, or access other college services, the student would need to clear their indebtedness to the college.
- The third party payer may not transfer responsibility for the balance to the student due to poor attendance or progress.
- This process applies to classes of all durations.
Employer Reimbursements/Partial Payment Sponsorships
- Students who plan to receive employer reimbursement upon successful completion of a course are required to pay in full at the time of registration and are subject to the standard College payment policies.
- In those cases in which the sponsoring organization/employer is guaranteeing partial payment with the student paying the difference, the student would be admitted to the class after they paid the tuition and fees in full.
- A student with an MSTC tuition hold would be required to satisfy that balance prior to enrolling in any classes.
- Any students with an outstanding balance may be subject to registration and records holds, class drops and collection action.
- This process applies to classes of all durations.
