Mid-State Technical College requires most new students to complete the ACCUPLACER prior to entrance into a program (see Waiver if you have taken another test and believe that will qualify for entrance). The ACCUPLACER measures reading comprehension, sentence skills, arithmetic, and elementary algebra skills through a series of multiple-choice questions presented on the computer. ACCUPLACER is not timed, but usually takes about 2 hours to complete.

If you need additional copies of your Accuplacer score report, you must contact MSTC in writing with the following information:
	The name and complete mailing address to whom you want the transcript released.
	Your complete name (and the name used at the time of testing)
	Your Social Security Number
	Your current mailing address and telephone number
	Your approximate date of testing
	Your signature

Retesting:
	Although we do not enforce a waiting period prior to retesting, we strongly recommend that you brush up before retesting.
	$20 test fee applies each time Accuplacer is taken, regardless of how many subtests are completed.
