Accommodations Testing for Eligible MSTC Students with Disabilities

Mid-State Technical College provides reasonable and effective accommodations in admission, placement, and academic testing for students with disabilities. Accommodations in testing are provided in accordance with guidelines under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Testing with accommodations provides otherwise qualified students and potential students with equal access to education by removing barriers in testing based on disability. Students with disabilities may qualify for alternative means of testing and/or a separate test site, based on individual needs and disabilities. At MSTC, arranging for accommodations testing is a team responsibility including the student, instructional staff, and Disability Services Staff.

In order to receive accommodations in testing at MSTC, a student must request accommodations through the Disability Services staff at the appropriate campus.
