The Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) Foundation provides resources to the college that benefit its students, staff and educational programs. The Foundation partners with donors to support and strengthen the college’s role in serving the educational needs of central Wisconsin.
Established in 1979, the MSTC Foundation is a not-for-profit organization related to, but separate from, the college. Funding priorities for the Foundation include student scholarships (more than 70 percent of MSTC students have financial need), student services and special program support.
The education provided by MSTC is an investment in the future of our students. MSTC helps create knowledge, contributes to the region’s economy, produces a skilled workforce and strengthens our communities.
With your support, the MSTC Foundation has assisted over 3,000 students in achieving their academic goals through distribution of nearly $2 million in scholarships during the past 29 years.
From beginnings of $959.14, and visionary leadership, three decades have led us to assets of $2.3 million. From 17 awards given in 1981 totaling $1,600 to a distribution of $165,000 assisting over 270 students during the last fiscal year.
The mission of the Mid-State Technical College Foundation is to promote the college through the development and management of funds to provide student scholarships and grants, and to support the educational programs of the college to encourage life-long learning.
