County Board supervisors who participated in the selection were Cynthia Loken, Adams County; Wayne Hendrickson, Clark County; Philip Idsvoog, Portage County; Norman Weiss, Waushara County; and Lance Pliml, Committee Chairman, Wood County. Pliml said the MSTC Board operates in a highly efficient and effective manner. "MSTC is a vital institution. One example is how the college serves employers by providing excellent education and training to students which contributes greatly to the development of the region's workforce."
The MSTC Board is comprised of nine members who represent five categories: employer (2), employee (2), additional members (3), one school district administrator, and one elected official. Pending certification by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board, the appointments to the MSTC Board of Directors will begin July 1.
