New Employees at MSTC

Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) has hired three new employees: Denise Barrientos, Dale Dominick and Matthew Jensen.
   
Denise Barrientos

Barrientos, Wisconsin Rapids, is the financial information assistant. She performs various Business Office functions and assists the Business Office staff. For the past nine years, she was employed with NewPage as a cost clerk where she was responsible for performing various accounting duties. Barrientos also worked eight years with Stora Enso and Consolidated Papers in the positions of order processing clerk, distribution clerk and freight processing clerk. Barrientos earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Lakeland College and an associate’s degree in Accounting from MSTC.

   
Dale Dominick

Dominick, Marshfield, is the EMT-Paramedic instructor at the Wisconsin Rapids campus. For the past ten years, Dominick gained experience in various public safety positions including emergency medical technician, paramedic and firefighter. Most recently, he was employed as a firefighter and paramedic with the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department. He also held positions as deputy coroner for the Wood County Coroner’s Office, EMT-Paramedic with Saint Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point and Great Divide Ambulance Service, Cable. Dominick has served as an adjunct emergency medical services Instructor at MSTC since 2002. He received paramedic and firefighter training at MSTC and holds several certifications relevant to emergency medical services and fire protection.

   
Matt Jensen

Jensen, Plover, is the director of enrollment management. He has overall responsibility for financial aid, student records, enrollment, high school relations, the Wisconsin Rapids Campus Office and PeopleSoft Student Administration leadership. For the past eight years, he was the director of admissions for UW-Parkside where he was responsible for the operation of the Admissions Office, which included enrollment, marketing and campus policy implementation responsibilities. Prior to that, he spent nine years with UW-Milwaukee in the positions of admissions supervisor and admissions counselor. Jensen earned a master’s degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
