Three persons were appointed to the Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) Board of Directors Thursday evening by the Board Appointment Committee, whose members represent eight county boards within the MSTC District boundaries. Lynneia Miller, Peggy Ose and Terry Reynolds were each appointed to three-year terms.
Ose, Wisconsin Rapids, is employed at Riverview Hospital Association and has served on the board since 2005. Miller, Marshfield, is employed at Security Health Plan. Reynolds, Marshfield, is the District Administrator for Pittsville School District. This will be the first term for Miller and Reynolds on the MSTC Board of Directors.
County Board supervisors who participated in the selection were Dennis Eberhardt, Jackson County; Philip Idsvoog, Portage County; Norman Weiss, Waushara County; and Lance Pliml, Committee Chairman, Wood County. Pliml said the MSTC Board operates in a highly efficient and effective manner. “I attend many of the college’s board meetings and am impressed with how well the board works together. I believe that the two new members will be a welcome addition.”
The MSTC Board is comprised of nine members who represent five categories: employer (2), employee (2), additional members (3), one school district administrator and one elected official. Pending certification by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board, the appointments to the MSTC Board of Directors will begin July 1. |
