WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) will host a Workforce Training Seminar Thursday, October 30 from 7:30-10:00 a.m. at its Wisconsin Rapids campus, 500 32nd Street North. This free workshop will be held in the Auditorium and features keynote speaker Rebecca Suehring, ICG Media. Suehring’s topic is “MySpace & Facebook: The New Employee Background Check?” ICG Media, Stevens Point, is a technical services company providing a wide array of services related to computing, networks and Internet.

In addition to Suehring’s presentation, MSTC staff will share training solutions targeted to incumbent workers. Options include certificates, computer-based training and online courses. Pre-registration for the Workforce Training Seminar is recommended.
