MSTC to Host Women in Law Enforcement Day

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - If you are a woman who desires a challenging and rewarding career, consider attending Mid-State Technical College's (MSTC) Women in Law Enforcement Day on Thursday, March 13 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This free event is open to women of all ages and will be held at MSTC's Wisconsin Rapids campus, 500 32nd Street North. Lunch is provided to participants.

According to Clark Pagel, Service & Health Associate Dean, law enforcement professionals apply problem solving skills with advanced technology. "This is a profession where creative, hard work yields tangible results. Women who are interested in a career with a good starting salary and great earning potential would definitely benefit from attending the Women in Law Enforcement Day," said Pagel.

During the event, women will experience the latest technology and participate in hands-on law enforcement activities while getting a closer look at MSTC's Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement program. Additional activities include touring the law enforcement labs, speaking with female law enforcement professionals and interacting with current MSTC students in the program.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register for Women in Law Enforcement Day as space is limited. For further information and to register, contact MSTC at its toll-free number, 888.575.6782 (ext. 5500), or via email at enrollment@mstc.edu
