WISCONSIN RAPIDS-Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) is pleased to announce the hiring of nine employees: Angela Brock, Patty Fairchild, Kerry Heinecke, Amy Linzmaier, Bert Mayhak, Deb Rucinski, Brad Russell, Sara Sikora and Michelle Umland.

Brock, Vesper, is a Division Assistant in the Service & Health Division at the Wisconsin Rapids campus. She provides office support to the nursing program, other assigned programs, faculty and staff. Over the past six years, she held various positions at WoodTrust Bank, including Personal Banker. Brock earned an associate of applied science degree in Administrative Assistant from MSTC. |

Fairchild, Plover, is the Online Support Specialist. She is responsible for faculty training and technical support for online delivery, exploration of emerging technologies and general online leadership. Most recently, she held the position of Director of Distance Learning at Northeast Iowa Community College and was a Computer Instructor. She also taught in the public school districts in Iowa for several years and owned a computer consulting and training business. Fairchild, earned a bachelor of arts degree from Luther College and a master of arts degree in Technology in Education from Clarke College. |

Heinecke, Mosinee, is the Biomedical Informatics Technician Instructor. For the past seven years, she was a Medical Software Product Analyst at Marshfield Clinic. Previously, she held the position of Manager of Health Information Management Services at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. She was a Medical Record Technician Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College, and has taught in the hospital and community college environments and part-time at MSTC. Heinecke earned an associate degree in Medical Records Technology from Kirkwood Community College, Iowa, and a bachelor of science degree in Medical Record Administration from East Carolina University. Heinecke is a Registered Health Information Administrator with the American Health Information Management Association. |

Linzmaier, Wisconsin Rapids, is an Office Assistant at the Marshfield campus. She provides customer service and general office support in the Campus Office. Her work experience includes various customer service and administrative positions locally and in Colorado. After working for Consolidated Papers as a Merchant Account Representative, she held the positions of Relocation Counselor and Corporate Inventory Manager with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Denver and most recently assisted in MSTC's Wisconsin Rapids campus library. Linzmaier earned a bachelor or arts degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Management from Metropolitan State College of Denver. |

Mayhak, Mosinee, is the Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship Instructor in the Technical & Industrial Division. He has thirty years of millwright work experience with Thompson Steel Company in Illinois and as an independent contractor. His teaching experience includes four years of full-time apprenticeship instruction at Moraine Park Technical College, part-time instruction at MSTC, Western Technical College and the Greater Wisconsin Apprenticeship & Journeyman Training Center. Mayhak completed the Millwright Apprenticeship from MSTC and earned an associate of applied science degree in Welding Technology from Triton College, Illinois. He is completing a bachelor of science degree in Career & Technical Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Rucinski, Wisconsin Dells, is a part-time Office Assistant at the Adams County Center providing customer service and general office support in the Center Office. She previously provided client services for seven years as an Information Specialist at the Sauk County Job Center through the Central Wisconsin Community Action Council. Other work experiences include customer service and office positions in hospitality and retail businesses in the Wisconsin Dells area. Rucinski completed correspondence coursework in sales and marketing and specialized training in grant writing. |

Russell, Wisconsin Rapids, is the Information Technology Network Administrator. He is responsible for the operation, maintenance, upgrades and security of MSTC's network. For the past seven years, he worked as a Technical Analyst and Project Leader at Riverview Hospital as well as responsible for project management and new technology implementation. Russell earned an associate of applied science degree in IT-Network Specialist from MSTC, a bachelor of arts degree in Business Administration from Lakeland College and has completed a variety of technical training related to network administration. |

Sikora, Marshfield, is a Division Assistant at the Marshfield campus. She provides office support to various campus programs, faculty, staff and evening customer service in the library. Recently, she held the position of Administrative Assistant at Alliance Collection Agency and prior to that Administrative Secretary at Columbus High School. Sikora earned a technical diploma in Accounting Assistant from MSTC.

Umland, Eau Claire, is a Counselor. She provides counseling to students throughout the District. For the past six years, she was employed at Chippewa Valley Technical College as a Counselor for their health programs. Other work experiences include part-time Student Success Counselor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and Certified Vocational Evaluator and Placement Training Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Umland earned a bachelor of arts degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and master's degree in Vocational Evaluation & Rehabilitation Counseling and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. |
