New Degrees Biomedical Informatics Technician
Join the future of healthcare! Become "job-ready" for the emerging world of electronic health record management. Biomedical informatics technicians use computer programs and established methods to securely process, compile, maintain and report electronic health information data for patient care, reimbursement, facility planning, marketing, risk management, utilization management, quality assessment and research.

Employment of biomedical informatics technicians is expected to rise faster than average because of rapid growth in the number of medical tests, treatments and procedures that will be increasingly scrutinized by health insurance companies, regulators, courts and consumers.


Graduates from these programs can expect to earn
on average $16.50 hour/$34,320 annually or higher.
   
Clinical Research Coordinator
Help develop tomorrow's medicine today! Prepare for first-level integrity of a research project, including organization, collaboration, data collection, recruiting, screening and enrolling participants, scheduling, ensuring accuracy of documentation, preliminary technical report writing and initial protocol development. Education and training emphasis is placed on providing assistance in the research process related to regulatory compliance and other research projects.

New Degrees Laboratory Science Technician
Play a key role in research and quality control! Learn to provide laboratory support to the environmental, food processing, medical and agriculture industries. Prepare to conduct or assist in laboratory analysis of food, water, fuel, soil, drugs and other elements. Students will develop a strong basis in scientifi c principles, quality methodology and process management skills.

Career opportunities include entry-level positions such as agriculture and food technician, biological technician, environmental science protection technician, hydrologists, laboratory assistant, laboratory and research technician and wastewater lab technician.

These new programs are offered at MSTC's Marshfield campus.
However, most classes are online and not location dependent.
