WISCONSIN RAPIDS–Mid-State Technical College has hired seven new employees: Susan Cotten, Molly Dorhorst, Carrie Engelbright, Steve Kaiser, Gregory Leonhard, Bill Rosandick and Shelly Weichelt. |

Cotten, Wisconsin Rapids, is the Grants Specialist. She is responsible for the identification, research, preparation, compliance review and submission of applications for external funding. Her previous work experience includes project management, research, fund raising, mediation and communications. Recently, Cotten was involved in state and federal grant development and writing for Madison Area Technical College (MATC), the Madison Metropolitan School District and non-profit organizations. She also taught grant writing courses at MATC. Cotten earned a bachelor of arts degree from Miami University in Ohio and a juris doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

Dorhorst, Rudolph, is a Nursing Instructor. She previously worked in the emergency room at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, the cardiac unit at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Madison, and as a nurse clinician at Marshfield Clinic. Dorhorst also worked as an MSTC adjunct instructor in the Nursing program. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Edgewood College and a master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Adult and Geriatric Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

Engelbright, Wisconsin Rapids, is a Nursing Assistant Instructor. She has worked at Riverview Hospital Association in Wisconsin Rapids and most recently was employed as a public health nurse and maternal child health nurse with the Wood County Health Department. Engelbright previously worked at MSTC as an adjunct instructor. She earned an associate of applied science degree in Nursing from MSTC and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education from Bellin College of Nursing. |

Kaiser, Stratford, is a Service & Health Division Associate Dean. He is responsible for coordinating
and supervising the allied health and service programs on the Marshfield campus. For the past twenty-four years he was employed at the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation holding positions of research associate, intern program coordinator and most recently, manager of the Core Lab, Facilities and Safety at the Research Foundation. He has also worked as a natural science adjunct instructor with Lakeland College. Kaiser earned a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and is currently completing a master’s degree in Human & Community Resources with an emphasis in Adult Education. |

Leonhard, Marshfield, is a Nursing Instructor. He previously held positions at Marshfield Clinic and St. Joseph’s Hospital as a nurse clinician, nurse practitioner and worker’s compensation case manager. Recently, he was a nursing instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College and provided adjunct instruction in various health programs at MSTC. Leonhard earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Advanced Clinical Practice Family Health Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. |

Rosandick, Granton, is a Respiratory Therapy Instructor. Most recently, he was employed as a respiratory therapist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Rosandick also served as a clinical preceptor for MSTC students in the Respiratory Therapy program. Previously, he worked in the Philippines as a refugee caseworker for the International Catholic Migration Commission and as an outreach worker for the United States Peace Corps. Rosandick earned an associate of applied science degree in Respiratory Therapy from MSTC and is a Registered Respiratory Therapist. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. |

Weichelt, Arpin, is the Financial Assistant at the Marshfield campus. She is responsible for various accounting and financial tasks for the Marshfield campus in conjunction with the District Business Office and also assists with campus office customer service. Most recently, Weichelt was employed as an accounting assistant at Alliance Collection Agencies, Inc. She previously worked in banking and is the accountant for her family trucking and excavating business. Weichelt earned an associate of applied science degree in Accounting from MSTC and is currently pursuing a bachelor of arts degree from Lakeland College. |
