New Employees at MSTC

WISCONSIN RAPIDS–Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) has hired four new employees: Greg Bruckbauer, Kay Grundhoffer, Chris Slaby and Tarah Welch.

   
Bruckbauer

Bruckbauer, Plover, is a Financials System Analyst. He is responsible for the college’s financials system applications. Bruckbauer was recently employed as Vice President of Finance at the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools. Additional past employment includes Controller at FS Cooperative, Inc., Amherst Junction, and Accountant at Gross Common Carrier, Inc., Wisconsin Rapids. Bruckbauer earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

   
Grundhoffer

Grundhoffer, Wisconsin Rapids, is a Counselor at the Marshfield and Stevens Point campuses. Grundhoffer was recently employed as a counselor at North Hennepin Community College in Minnesota. Additional past employment includes Vocational Counselor in the Employment and Training Center at Dakota County Technical College, Burnsville, Minnesota and a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant in Minneapolis. Grundhoffer earned a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from the College of St. Thomas, a master’s degree in Educational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and post graduate work at Mankato State University and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

   
Slaby

Slaby, Plover, is a Computer Services Technician. He is responsible for the installation and support of computer hardware and software components and resolves problems for network computer users. Previously, he held the position of PC Technician at Ashley Furniture Industries, Arcadia, responsible for PC setup and maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software problems and end user support. Slaby earned an associate of applied science degree in Computer Information Systems–Network Specialist from Chippewa Valley Technical College and also holds various information technology professional certifications.

   
Welch

Welch, Wisconsin Rapids, is an Office Assistant at the Wisconsin Rapids campus. She provides customer service in the Campus Office and support to student recruitment/prospect activities and enrollment staff. Welch recently worked at Renaissance Learning where she held the position of Customer Assistant Representative in Client Services. Previous office experience includes TH Agri-Chemicals, Inc. in Plainfield and as a work study in MSTC’s Financial Aid Office. Welch earned an associate of applied science degree in Marketing from MSTC.
