MSTC Offers Free Career Planning Course!
Mid-State Technical College offers a free, adult career planning course at each of its sites throughout the year. Career Awareness & Assessment allows adults the freedom to explore a wide variety of careers that match their personal and professional values. Participants will engage in self-discovery activities about their interests and values as well as formalized tests of basic academic skills and aptitudes. They will also be assisted in making a career match that is best suited to them. Interested persons are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity to explore and assess their career skills and possible future career opportunities. Special accommodations are available for students with disabilities.

Stevens Point Classes Begin October 9
Career Awareness & Assessment will be held at the Stevens Point campus, 933 Michigan Avenue, beginning Monday, October 9. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-11:45 a.m., October 9 through November 10. An evening session will begin November 13. Individuals 18 years of age and older may register at the Stevens Point campus or learn more information by calling 715-344-3063.

Marshfield Classes Begin October 10
Career Awareness & Assessment will be held at the Marshfield campus, 2600 West 5th Street, beginning Tuesday, October 10. Classes will be held Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00-9:00 p.m., October 10 through November 1. A morning session will begin November 27. Individuals 18 years of age and older may register at the Marshfield campus or learn more information by calling 715-387-2538.

Wisconsin Rapids Classes Begin October 30
Career Awareness & Assessment will be held at the Wisconsin Rapids campus, 500 32nd Street North, beginning Monday, October 30. Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m.-Noon, October 30 through
November 17. Individuals 18 years of age and older may register at the Wisconsin Rapids campus or learn more information by calling 715-422-5445.
