New Employees at MSTC     
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) has hired six new employees: Deb DeWilde, John Francis, Richard O’Sullivan, Jullie Purkapile, Joan Radtke and Greg Webster.

DeWilde, Vesper, is a Division Assistant at the Marshfield campus. She provides clerical and secretarial support to various programs, faculty and staff. DeWilde held various technical and administrative positions for nine years at the Department of Transportation in Madison and Wisconsin Rapids. Most recently she was a Human Resource Assistant at Figi’s Inc. in Marshfield. DeWilde earned an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology from MSTC. She is presently working towards completion of an associate degree in Paralegal Studies at Ashworth College.
     
Francis, Plover, is the Information Technology Systems Specialist. He is responsible for the operation and security of MSTC’s network, personal computers and data. Francis has eleven years of information technology experience in systems design, administration, networking and project implementation. Previously, he held positions of NT Systems Administrator at McKesson Corporation in Dubuque, Iowa and Senior Systems Administrator at Honeywell and IBM Global Services. He also worked for various information technology companies in Asia. Francis earned a bachelor of science degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Bangalore in India. He also holds a number of information technology professional certifications.
     
O’Sullivan, Stevens Point, is the Vice President of Human Resources. He recently held the position of Division Human Resources Manager at Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. in Northbrook, Illinois. Prior to that, he held human resources managerial positions at Eastman Kodak Company and had functional human resources responsibilities at Commonwealth Edison Company. O’Sullivan earned a juris doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School, a master of science degree in Human Resources from Loyola University and a bachelor of science degree in Business from Roosevelt University.

Purkapile, Plover, is a Business Technology Instructor. Recently, she held the position of Tech Prep Specialist at MSTC. Purkapile was previously employed at Blackhawk Technical College (BTC) in the positions of Technology Training Specialist, End User Analyst and AQIP Accreditation Coordinator. She also taught computer courses BTC and was a Corporate Trainer for CompUSA. Purkapile earned a bachelor of arts degree in Graphic Design and Computer End User Technologies from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and a master of science degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University.

Radtke, Nekoosa, is the Student Financials Specialist. She is responsible for the PeopleSoft student financials systems, policies and procedures. For the past four years, Radtke was involved in the PeopleSoft project at MSTC as a part-time employee of Landmark Staffing Resources. Prior to that, Radtke spent sixteen years in the financial industry, including time at the public accounting firm of Wipfli Young in Madison, and was responsible for financial analysis, auditing, accounting administration and operations. Radtke earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
     
Webster, Wisconsin Rapids, is a Civil Engineering Technology Instructor. He was a Project Engineer for six years for the general contracting firm, Danis Environmental Industries, in Dayton, Ohio. Webster acquired teaching experience as a graduate research assistant and graduate teaching assistant. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a master of science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
